Andy Loudon has almost two decades of extensive hospitality experience, having worked across the bar  industry internationally before returning to London as Director of Bars at Scarfes Bar, Rosewood London  from July 2024. At his new role he manages the operations of the property’s bars, including the Mirror  Room, Holborn Dining Room and the multi-award-winning Scarfes Bar which placed No.37 in The  World’s 50 Best Bars 2024.  

Starting his career as an Assistant Bar Manager at renowned London bar 69 Colebrook Row, he progressed  to Group Bar Manager at Satan’s Whiskers where he acquired general management experience as well as  innovating the bar’s cocktail offering and service rituals. Following 5 years in London, Loudon took his  talents overseas where he undertook the role of Bar Manager at Melbourne’s Bar Americano. 

Loudon then went on to settle in Singapore as the Group Director of Bars for the iconic Tippling Club, which he led to numerous awards including to No.43 in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2021. Having built an  international reputation within the bars industry, Loudon joined the Proof Creative team as a Senior  Creative Consultant where he spear-headed the collaborations with high-profile groups and venues.

Following his experience across the world, Loudon has developed a scientific and theory-based approach  to cocktails, leading the success in several international cocktail competitions. He has built a renowned  reputation as a leader and innovator within 5-star establishments, which he looks to continue within his role at Rosewood London.
